Paige smacked her elbow into something the other day. As she sat there rubbing it with tears filling in her eyes, I said, "Even though it's called your 'funny bone' it isn't very funny when you hit it on something, huh?" She agreed, but Haley said, "Well, it's actually called a funny bone because the real name of the elbow is 'hilarious.'"
Ummm, Haley - did you mean "humerus"???

My kids think it's hilarious that the skin covering the elbow is called the "wenis" (pronounced wee-nis).
There is so much brilliant humor at your house that the Mayfields should have their own reality show. Just think of the money, trips, extra "friends" around.
